Hoffpauir Tags a Bag… And Then Tags Another One

So, in the bottom of the first inning of today’s Brewers/Cubs Spring Training matchup in Arizona, I noticed a little something strange going on between Micah Hoffpauir and Carlos Zambrano at the conclusion of a routine Prince Fielder groundout.

Take a look:

 

This, of course, reminded me of the bizarre celebration in the Cubs dugout after a Aramis Ramirez walk-off home run in 2007: Hey, Aramis Ramirez Hit A Home—YeeeeeOW! (Deadspin). Unfortunately, that video no longer works, but, for those that didn’t see it at the time, it was similar, but even more disturbing.

    That looks like the classic game of Testicular Tag. Usually the tagging is done from behind, but this rendition seems to break a couple of the rules of the game.
