Yesterday’s Game: Padres 4, Brewers 3
Spring Record: 2-3-1

Yesterday’s Game

- The Brewers took the loss today against the Padres. Corey Hart stayed red hot going 3-3, including a two-run homer. Jeff Suppan struggled in the first inning, giving up three earned runs.

Brewers News

- Both Braden Looper (ribcage) and Tony Gwynn Jr. (right shoulder) had exams today. Results aren’t out yet. Gord Ash should be giving details Tuesday.

- The Brewers are taking a look at Brad Nelson in the outfield this spring. I like this. Nelson is out of options, and I think he still has the potential to break out. Good luck sir. No matter what happens, just know that Tyler loves you.

- Pitching prospect Cody Scarpetta saw his first “Major League” action in today’s B Game. Scarpetta is on the Brewers 40-man roster because of a rules technicality.

- Staying with today’s B game, Chris Narveson looked great today. He threw three no-hit innings.

- What do you expect out of Ryan Braun this coming season? See if it compares to what this dude expects.

- Here are The Junkball Blues projections for Corey Hart’s 2009 season.

- OnMilwaukee gets in on the Brewers fun with a “random” facts list about the ‘09 Brewers. Kinda interesting stuff.

- Need a fantasy outlook on this years Brewers? Didn’t think so, but here it is anyway.

- Find the latest edition of The Brewer Nation’s Podcast here.

- Another blog previews the ‘09 Brewers. Can you tell I’m bored?

- Maybe I’m a little (very) crazy, but chicks in Cubs gear is a huge turnoff. Okay…I’d still consider. (slash) Grow up More Hardball…

- CZwief asks, “What’s the deal with Mark DiFelice?”

- Juan Nieves tops this list of least likely no-hitters.

Minor Leagues

- Timber Rattlers tickets go on sale March 14 at 10am. Jump on it!

- Not that we haven’t seen enough top prospect links, but check out Project Prospect’s list of the top five Brewers prospects.
