• Twins can fill a big hole with Hardy – Mick Hatten, St. Cloud Times (10/12/08)

The Brewers are going to be looking for pitching and that’s the one position where the Twins organization has some depth. Francisco Liriano, Kevin Slowey, Scott Baker, Jose Mijares and Joe Nathan would be unavailable if I were the general manager. The rest would be open for discussion.

Nick Blackburn and Phil Humber to the Brewers for Hardy. Do it. Glen Perkins and Brian Duensing to the Brewers for Hardy. Do it. You get the idea and you can’t get a player of Hardy’s caliber dangling Boof Bonser and Matt Guerrier out there.
