- CC was the player of the game with his pitching (another complete game), hitting (2-3, 2 RBI’s, a Run, Sac Bunt), and his glove (started a double play)
- CC had his National League leading 5th Complete game and is now 8-0! However, his pitch count was a bit of a concern as it reached 130
- Ryan Braun Left Today’s game after an ugly swinging strike three and Ned said He’s “not dealing with this (worrying about Braun) everyday”
- Astros Manager/Former Brewer Cecil Cooper was quoted saying the Astros would sweep the Brewers. Bill Schroeder from FSN said he talked to Coop about the statements and he felt the statements were misquoted. He meant to say something to the extent of, “We need to and could sweep the Brewers.”
- Weeks was out with a sprained thumb and Ray Durham showed us why he was worth two prospects.
- Haudricourt’s new mailbag is out.
- The Brewers stay Number 5 on FOX Sports’ Power Ranking.

Ironically, I’m already going to be attending Thursday’s game with my girlfriend. It’s her b-day and we thought it’d be a nice way to start up the birthday weekend (dollar beers too, I believe?).

Dollar beers, pint glass giveaway, and I think they’re running a special that if you buy a large soda you get a free ticket for the last weeks serieses… At least they were when Kane County was in last week.
