Great interview. Like Seth said at the end, I hope that he doesn’t get booed when he returns to Miller Park. I know that if I am attending, I’ll give him a solid golf clap when he steps on to the field. Anyone who would boo him is an ignorant fool.

It’s too bad he didn’t get to really find a legit spot in the bullpen. Having him fill in as a starter when a starter would go down with an injury really hurt him. It’d be great to get him back eventually towards the end of his career and have him work in the brewers organization. You really get the sense that he would love doing something like that later in life.

I think you could still get away with a “Hung like McClung” shirt at Miller Park this season. However, I think it’s time for everyone to retire their Bill Hall jerseys and shirts.

My favorite McClung memory is the game against the Cubs in September of 2008 where he came out of the Pen and shut the door on the Cubs. That was a big time performance in a big time game and if we lost that game I don’t know if we make it to the playoffs. Best of luck to Seth and I will always regret not working with brewerfever78 on getting “Hung like McClung” shirts.

Must have been a treat interviewing him, I was laughing throughout. Wish the Crew would get him back on a long term deal just for entertainment purposes if nothing else. Maybe he’s got potential to take over for Uecker someday..
