Cheaper than Kendall and should be able to put up slightly better numbers. A perfect bridge to Lucroy. I saw a blog commenter say he was pissed about it because he wants Rivera to play more. Hey, Rivera seems like a great guy, but there's a reason he's in his mid 30s and has never been more than a back up. I like a possible Noah Lowry deal, but again, he falls into the Mulder/Sheets/Bedard category. Otherwise it is just an average FA pitching crop this year. Winter meeting are going to be fun.
