Walking home from the liquor store, our arms bulging with sixers of Hard Creamer, Johnny and I (mostly Johnny) developed an entire ad campaign for the product. Corporate didn't bite though.

I'll drink anything if so offered. The only thing I drink ironically is "Hard Creamer" because, well, it's called Hard Creamer.

Urban 312 by Goose Island is a pretty good beer.

To be honest, I've never really understood the whole "bad cheap beer my grandpa drank is now good because it's somehow ironic" hipster movement (which seems to be a large part of the Old Style obsession at Wrigley). Old Style, Schlitz, Hamm's and the like are all pretty underwhelming in my opinion. Pabst is decent, but I think most of my worst hangovers have been after nights of drinking that stuff. I'm not really saying those beers are any better or worse than the standard Miller or Bud products, I just don't get the whole hip factor attached with them now.

For the record, I don't drink all snobby, expensive micro brews either. My fridge is usually stocked with Leine's Light and whatever the other RFB guys leave in the cooler after tailgating.

It was only a few years ago that Budweiser took over Chicago's #1 beer. Old Style is their adopted beer. What else are they going to drink? Goose Island?
