To be honest, I’ve never really understood the whole “bad cheap beer my grandpa drank is now good because it’s somehow ironic” hipster movement (which seems to be a large part of the Old Style obsession at Wrigley). Old Style, Schlitz, Hamm’s and the like are all pretty underwhelming in my opinion. Pabst is decent, but I think most of my worst hangovers have been after nights of drinking that stuff. I’m not really saying those beers are any better or worse than the standard Miller or Bud products, I just don’t get the whole hip factor attached with them now.

For the record, I don’t drink all snobby, expensive micro brews either. My fridge is usually stocked with Leine’s Light and whatever the other RFB guys leave in the cooler after tailgating.
