Nothing but Met: Crew drops game one

I had been hoping Thursday's extra-inning game against the Phillies, in which both bullpens were tremendously worked, might've set the Mets at a disadvantage Friday against the Brewers. Alas, with a mere two hits and two walks from the Milwaukee side of things, the Mets pen barely came into play in their 4-2 win last night.

It's discouraging to be dropping games so regularily, three of the last four going into today to be exact, but excluding last night, at least the bats are out. And minus Dave Bush's outings and Villy's one bad inning, the starters have been strong and are at least keeping Milwaukee in games.

Minutes away from the game today and I just hope they come out swinging early and pile on Santana while they can. Sheets is approaching the Brewers scoreless inning record (less than an inning from taking 2nd place), so he's throwing hot enough to possibly (for once) find himself on the other side of a 1-0 game.

Beyond that, not much else to say. I'm just glad to actually be able to watch this game for once. Psssh, WMLW? As if I get that.

No. Not typically. I'm not sure how it works. Early last season they were never on FSN. At some point later in the season, they were all on FSN. Sucks.
