In the News

The Right Field Bleachers league fantasy baseball draft was held today. I may as well have the trophy engraved now...

- Kendall will bat ninth in the order. Yost said studies show it will mean more runs. I guess it's worth a shot.

- The Brewers will try to sign Prince to a long-term deal. With his agent, good luck...

- Non-roster invitee Chris Narveson pitched four scoreless innings today against the A's.

- Claudio Vargas pitched five hitless innings against the Mariners. Looks like someone wants to win a roster spot.

- Braun has hit three spring training home runs. Fielder has not hit one yet.

- Fielder, Weeks, and Hall play in games two days and then take a day off. On the third day, they work exclusively on defense. That's a pretty good idea from Yost.

- Yost says Braun could be a gold glove outfielder at some point. One step at a time Ned...

- Simmons exudes baseball wisdom. I love that he's the bench coach.

- BrewersNation profiles prospect Rob Bryson. And Carlos Villanueva.

- BrewersBar touches on some Brewers' statistical trends from spring training.
