Bush, Brewers Moving Closer to Deal
Tom Haudricourt of the Journal-Sentinel reports in the JSOnline Brewer Blog that the Brewers and pitcher Dave Bush are working on a deal that would allow the team and player to avoid arbitration hearings.
Bush and shortstop J.J. Hardy are the only two Brewers in arbitration.
If history is any indication, both players will agree to deals before their arbitration hearings next month. Doug Melvin has never had to go to an arbitration hearing with a player since he took over as GM in Milwaukee.
